WOMEN'S BUILD
Women from across our community come together to raise funds, roll up their sleeves, and work side by side to construct safe, affordable homes while empowering one another, creating lasting change for local families, and strengthening the future of our neighborhoods.

At Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro-Daviess County, we believe in the strength, leadership, and dedication of women to create lasting change in our community. As we proudly bring Women Build back as an annual event, this initiative will continue to unite women led teams who are passionate about making a difference.
This year’s build will take place on October 11, in recognition of the National Day of the Girl and during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, allowing us to both empower the next generation of women and honor those who have been impacted by breast cancer. Together, participants will work side by side on the build site, gain new skills, and contribute their time and talents to the construction of safe, affordable homes for local families. Through this shared experience, Women Build will not only help provide housing, but will also foster confidence, connection, and a growing network of women committed to strengthening our community year after year.
