OTHER WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Even if construction isn’t your thing, there are plenty of ways to get involved, help in our office, assist with events, or support families in our community through a variety of volunteer opportunities.

Looking to make a deeper impact with your time and expertise? Join one of Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro–Daviess County’s committees or our Board of Directors. Our committees include Homeowner Services, Fundraising, and Property, each playing a vital role in supporting our mission and helping families achieve safe, affordable housing. Serving on a committee or the board allows you to contribute your skills, guide our programs, and be part of the decision-making that shapes our community.

Help us make a difference beyond the build site by volunteering at our special events. From fundraisers and community celebrations to awareness campaigns, special events volunteers play a key role in supporting Habitat’s mission. Whether you’re greeting guests, assisting with activities, or helping behind the scenes, your time and energy make these events successful and help families in our community achieve safe, affordable housing.
Special Events

Show your support for our hardworking volunteers and future homeowners by providing a meal for our build crews. Once a month, we invite community members, groups, or organizations to help keep our teams energized and motivated on site. Whether you bring a home-cooked meal, catered lunch, or snacks and drinks, your contribution makes a big difference and helps our crews continue building safe, affordable homes for families in need.
Feed Our Crew

Share your knowledge and skills by teaching a class at Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro–Daviess County’s Training Center. From home repair and construction skills to financial literacy and homeownership education, your expertise can empower individuals and families to build stronger, more stable futures. Volunteering as an instructor is a meaningful way to give back and make a lasting impact in our community.
